The Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Solidarios de San Ignacio is a prominent cooperative from northern Peru.  Located in San Igacio Province APROCASSI is well situated in the Cajamarca region.  This is an area celebrated for its coffee cultivation.  Aprocassi benefits from high altitudes and microclimates of the Andean mountains.  APROCASSI is deeply committed to sustainable and organic farming.  APROCASSI focuses on preserving the environment and enhancing the farmers livelihoods as its initiatives.  The cooperative uses shade-grown coffee and the use of organic fertilizers to reflect its commitment. Investing in its members through training in agricultural best practices, ensuring high-quality, responsibly produced coffee is important to the cooperative. Its efforts extend beyond coffee production, with involvemnet in social and educational programs.  This demonstrateds a comprehensive approach and dedication to the community development and empowerment.  APROCASSI has there for esptablished istself as a benchmark for sustainable coffee production and community support in the Peruvian coffee sector.
