It’s Not Alot of Money to Alot of People
It’s not a lot of money to a lot of people!
The goal of the Headquarters (HQ) of Hope Building Project is to completely pay off the new building at 1700 N Chester Ave! We need $100,000.00 for the down payment and the remaining $186,000.00 to complete the purchase. This sounds like a lot of money and it really is but “it is not a lot of money to a lot of people”! Let me unpack that last statement.
“It’s not a lot of money to a lot of people” really means two things. One, $286,000.00 is not a lot of money to some individuals, families, businesses or organizations. There are people who have $286,000.00 that is considered discretionary income. This is a large number to me and most folks but in reality it is not a lot of money to a lot of people. We sure would appreciate folks from this category of life for making an investment into the lives of the fatherless and the orphan by helping us with the purchase of the Headquarters of Hope.
The second meaning of “It’s not a lot of money to a lot of people” is the thought that $286,000.00 is not a lot of money to a lot of people … meaning it’s not alot of money when you spread the $286,000.00 out with smaller donations by hundreds or thousands of people.
As you can see, there are many ways to get to the $286,000.00 goal. A few people can give large donations or many people can give smaller donations to reach the goal of $286,000.00. To help you get your mind around the concept check out the PDF below titled HQ of Hope and HQ of hope1. The first file is massive and runs through the numbers needed from 1 person that gives $286,000.00 to the 2,860 people needed if each gives $100.00.
